Back in 2016 the V.A.S.H.- Veterans Administration Subsidized Housing (Section 8 for qualifying Veterans) program made an apartment available to me in the recently yuppified Central Los Angeles possible and wow DTLA (downtown Los Angeles) has changed since the early 90s when I made meat and seafood pickups in LA and the Vernon "meat district" for my business in Ventura- the former West Coast Gourmet.
