More than a quarter-century after we graduated, I walked my children into the old high school for them to attend Language Immersion School. What a walk down Memory Lane! We attended an orientation session in the old auditorium, where Student Council and the musical, "Funny Girl" had been held. And Mr. Hagemeister's physics room on third floor still had the periodic table of elements on the wall!
I realized later that the school hadn't been entirely adapted to a younger crowd. My children had to jump up to see themselves in the bathroom mirrors, and there was no playground equipment at the time.
